Royal Beyhive : Jelly sandwich + stamping

Hello lovely loves!
Hope your day is going well.

Another short and sweet post today.

For this mani I used:

China Glaze creative fantasy- bright grape jelly that dries to a almost satin finish

Orly watch it glitter - medium and small copper glitter in a clear base

For stamping I used:

Winstonia image plate w113 (honeycomb image)

Finger paints magnetic in cop an attitude- copper with a slightly shimmery metallic finish ( amazing for stamping)

How I did it:

Basecoat
Two coats of creative fantasy
One coat orly watch it glitter
One coat of creative fantasy
One coat of top coat to make sure its all smooth
Stamped
Top coat ;-)

Im a newbie stamper so this didn't turn out perfect theres still so many things I need to learn, but im in love with how this turned out.

I am loving these Winstonia plates, great for even newbies like me, ill have a full review for that later on.

As far as the polishes I used, creative fantasy is just gorgeous, it can be a lil patchy but so worth it

Orlys watch it glitter is great, no dabbing or moving around, what you see underneath is one coat

Finger paints cop an attitude is perfect for stamping,  I find that a lot of magnetics are.

Duri rejuvacote: first impression

Well hello there darlin' , how you doin'?
Today I have a quick lil post about Duri Rejuvacote.
Rejuvacote is a strengthening basecoat that claims to turn your spliting , cracking , crappy nails into talons of fabulousness

After seeing many reviews I decided to give it a try, my nails are all of the above, the split, crack, break and peel. Its nearly impossible to get any length to them so o decided to give it a try

Ive been using it for about 3 days and I can already see a difference,  my nails are so much stronger!  Its amazing.

Bellow are some fotos of day one, prior to application and after.  Ill have a update with more info on day 7.

China Glaze : running in circles

Hey guys, todays post is short and sweet. Not sure if its going to work but lets try. 

I have both pix and a video of china glaze "running in circles" from the cirque collection. I couldn't capture the full beauty of it in the picture , so I decided we needed a lil sparkle cam action. 

I might do more of these if it works out, its very difficult to do this from my phone ( been at it for hours! Even with the help of my friend I still couldn't get it to work)

Running in circles is a gorgeous emerald green packed with light green and gold sparkles, and when I say packed I mean PACKED ! The shimmer gives it almost a duo chrome foiled look. 

Im in love, I have a soft spot for greens and this has to be one of my favorite, if not my #1 favorite, this is 2 easy coats and top coat

Below is the video, its dark and gloomy out so I had to use the flash on my phone. As much as it sparkles It still does not do this color justice.

Influenster : Sweetheart voxbox

So a tiny update, its been a while but only because I still do not have internet and the only thing I have with internet access is my phone , and honestly blogging sucks from your phone when you have to do a long post, so lets keep this short ;-)

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be chosen to receive a voxbox from influenster!
For those of you who don't know what this is I'll sum it up for you, every month people are chosen to receive a box full if goodies to review! The voxbox of February was called the sweetheart box, although to me this seems more like a summer voxbox and you'll see why.

I will be reviewing each product individually, so this is just a quick overview and just to explain a bit more about the program.

I am pleased with what I got,  it takes about a week or two to get your box after to take the survey (if you qualify) and the whole process seems really easy to me. I love it ♥

Maya Cosmetics : Sugar Rush

Hello gorgeous! 

A couple of weeks ago I recived a few polishes from Maya Cosmetics to review and today I finally had the opportunity to test one and let you guys know what I think!

There are 4 polishes , 3 brand new released earlier this month and one that was reformulated.

The first one I have to show you is part of the Valentine's day collection,  this one is called sugar rush.

First let me say that Kat ( the owner of maya cosmetics) does an amazing job at naming her polishes,  when I first saw this it immediately reminded me of pixi stix!

Kat describes it as  " Micro and small satin/matte pastel pink, hot pink, and white glitters in a sheer pink base " and thats exactly what I see, it can be worn alone or other other polishes, I recommend pinks, grey, or white as this base is tinted a light baby pink.

Ive chosen to wear it alone and over milani " mint candy" as a slight gradient. It only takes 2-3 coats to achieve full opacity (depending on the way you polish) and dries to a semi matte finish with a bit of texture! 
Personally this does not bother me at all , if you dont like it just add a few coats of a thick top coat!

I know a lot of people are raving over the textured "sandy look" trend and although I dont own any , I can say that judging by what ive seen you could compare sugar rush to zoya pixie dust, matte glitters with a bit of sparkle. Just add a matte top coat and you have that textured "sugar" effect!

As with the other maya cosmetics polishes I own, I had no issues with application 3 easy (fairly fast drying) coats with 2 coats of seche vite to smooth it out for the pictures below.

Tiny little update

I know it been a while , but theres been a good reason why! If you follow me on facebook you should know whats been going on.
Basically my apartment is trashed... the bathroom floor caved in leaving a huge hole , then the ceiling was coming down on us thanks to our apt not being up to date on maintenance,  it has to be replaced. .. all of it! And on top of that its possible that it may contain asbestos,  which would explain the multiple lung infections my boyfriend has had oved the years, that last one costing almost $5,000 since we have no insurance.  Add holidays, birthdays and any other sucky stuff life throws at you and there you go.

We have been staying with my boyfriend's grandma for about a month, theres no internet here or anyone to "borrow" (lol) internet from! I did upgrade my phone so I can keep up from here , I really love blogging and want to do better and be more active this year!

Maya cosmetics : "what kind of party?" swatches part 2

today i have a continuation of yesterdays post. i have more pictures of the "what kind of party?" collection which releases today. ill have more info on that at the bottom. now lets get to the pictures. i apologize for my hands appearing so red , theres a problem with the heat and its really cold in my apt LOL

first we have shindig, i chose to layer it over a navy blue ( orly: shockwave)

next we have gathering i chose to layer this over a deep eggplant shade ( wnw : disturibia )

and the last shade in this collection ( my personal favorite ) hootenanny. heres two coats no undies :)

and thats it! im keeping short and sweet this time you can check my previous post for a full review and description of the colors . im sorry for any messyness i ran out of polish remover lol also if you see any bald spots in the base colors, that was all me , rookie mistake of not letting my first coat of base color after applying the second coat of base color. 

im in love with these polishes and as i said before i had no problems with application with any of these .
